Author Topic: How much would I get for these?  (Read 940 times)

I'm selling a few games at Gamestop (or Gamedude, if they give more money). List:
Mirror's Edge PC (great condition, box is a little messed up)
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars LIMITED COLLECTOR'S EDITION (perfect condition; the disc has never been run, and all the extra collector's stuff is in perfect condition)
Sims 2: Open For Business expansion pack (great condition)
Civilization 3 COMPLETE (fantastic condition)
How much money will I approximately get from these?

If estimated correctly, About 20$.

Gamestop sucks bro.

1:go to store
2:ask
3:???
4:PROFIT

I got about $300 for 52 X-BOX 306, WII,  PS2 games, and a DS Lite. That would be aboue $20-$30.

omg
you got ripped off bro
that would be worth something in the thousands

Also, condition really doesn't matter at Gamestop.

I don't care, it just brought up my sums to about $450.

they let you buy a game that wont let you play the first 3 levels on hard

If it's opened, it's used. Condition doesn't matter, they'll give you the same trade in ripoff "value" for a collector's edition game in great condition that has never been used that a normal edition, scratched up disc by itself with no case would get.

You said it way better than I did.

Sims 2 is worthless. I'm sorry, but there are more copies of these to deal with all the fangirlism then there are burgers in most American fast food outlets.
Civilization is more classic than the sims, and if the condition is as good as you say, you could get some for it.
Mirror's Edge is a modern game, which ought to be a plus. (ID about you, but we have EB Games in my country, and if a box is too messed up, they just get rid of it and put secondhand CD's in DVD cases, thus eliminating the condition issue.
Quake Wars is probably less than you think. The game did well, but it's old, so noone is looking to buy the Collector's Ed. any more.

In short, i'd sell the Sims, Civ, and Mirror's Edge to them, and try that Collector's Ed. on eBay, as that would be where people would look for that sort of thing.

Good luck.

1 cent.
lol
I traded in 3 games worth 20 dollars each
i got 2 dollars and 34 cents
