I think that your shading is kind of odd, but that's a pretty big part of charcoal drawing.

I noticed this too, more on the second drawing. The problem is that I would go to highlight something by erasing it then it would get smudged from being worked over and become colored back in. To fix that I used a white charcoal pencil thats why it looks a little funky



They all look nice, but what exactly did you draw in the second picture? I'm not seeing anything.

Yeah graphite is very fun. I have two Van Go drawings I copied using the graphite pencils
