Author Topic: Themed Mac  (Read 4525 times)

So I've spent the last week theming my mac, and here's what I've got. I really love it :D

Augh I just realized I didn't show my dock in there. I've got this awesome dock and you'd all love my finder icon :c

Holy stuff, that's awesome.

Thanks :D

I'll explain how it's done if you want. Macs are surprisingly easy to modify GUI files.

I'm not much of the stripe thing.  Otherwise, it's awesome!

Here's what I've got:

Wallpaper: Pwr'd by Muscar (Hue modified)
Menubar Icons: Leopard Icons v2 by iAndrew
Drive Icons: Ive Drives
System Icons: Mistikons by Fif7y/GAFMEDIA
Traffic lights, Scroll Bars, and Loading bar (Not shown): Kento/Disengenius port by Y3K
GeekTool scripts: Day, Date, Month, Time, Seconds, and Battery
Bowtie: Shufflesque (Miso)
Menu / Menubar highlight: Rounded Menu Select by Pritthish (Hue modified)
Menubar Background and Finder Background by me

That font on my Bowtie and Geektool scripts is called "Miso" and it's awesome. Not default.

Any usernames I've put are their MacThemes forums usernames.

Here's a great example of the quality of MacTheme's community's themed macs:

Edit: That's "mindlessmissy"'s mac

I'm confused--did you take images other people made and used them, or make your own?

I like it, I've themed my old Mac before and its pretty neat. Too bad you can't get that level of customization on Windows without a bunch of other programs.

There are lots of theming elements that people make for Macs, he obviously combined a bunch to produce a pretty neat effect.

So, did he make the images?

*cough* Macs suck *cough*

Problem : It's for a mac.

Good thing : That looks freakin' amazing

Bigger problem : You got me killed, starfish.

And they say the PC is more customizable!
