In culture.
I know some morons will argue against this, but; we started cinema, television, modern-music (rock, jazz, blues, etc), videogames. The only art forms america didn't come up with is playwrighting, classical music, and painting, and those three forms all came from different parts of the world, so on a country to country basis, America pwns.

You must remember that different countries made large contributions as well. Japan now makes a lot of high tech stuff, Russia was the first to get to space, America created a lot of entertainment, etc.

Japan doesn't invent things, it modifies things already made to make them 1000000% better. But they don't really come up with new things.

Armed forces are the 3rd biggest problem.
