We can have it, just the government is to lazy to fund research for anything better.
which is why usa isnt superior

NASA.
lol
Maybe the old nasa, but the modern one is down the drain.

You should at least thank us for the Canadarm MKII... without it you wouldn't have hubble, silly.

Actually, eh, you'd probably make some clunky arm that has to be ejected into space, but w/e. Also we made dem snomobiles

Yes, it will really come back with all of those massive budget cuts.

Yes, it will really come back with all of those massive budget cuts.
Let me rephrase that.

It'll come back.
When Obama is gone.
And the economy is better.

Let me rephrase that.

When Obama is gone.
And the economy is better.
Obama will take over the government in a violent coup d'etat, and the economy will suck forever because of his new, absolutist reign.

nasa's budget is down to 18billion from 19billion
i wouldn't call that down the drain. its a budget cut in one area. there is nothing new about that.
the news reports something as major and your dumb enough to believe it.

not to mention the airforce's space program's budget is 6 times that.

$108,000,000,000?

dayum. They could build a supercomputer out of 500 PS3's with that :cookieMonster:

well yeah i dont see how so many of you think nasa represents the united states in space. its a small part of what the government is doing up there. to hell if nasa has a budget at all.

its funny how the other countries finally show an interest after 50 years of not caring about space. just after the US announces all sorts of military projects up there.

they are clearly struggling to play catch up now. the US is the technological powerhouse of the world.

Private companies are what America's space future looks like.
