She's back. :D

We got her running with a fresh install of Windows Vista Home premium. I managed to get the BIOS loadup screen running, got the BIOS reset to factory condition, and did a memory scan.

This was the total problem, down to it.
One stick of RAM (out of 4) was faulty. This did not allow my machine to load up. I disconnected one stick, and it wanted me to disconnect both so I did. It booted up with 2gb of RAM, went straight to the recovery center and installed windows. :D

So she's running, but see I can't exactly use it quite yet. When we did a total cleaning of the case from dust my dad had to remove the epoxy connecting the CPU to the main fan, so I can't use it without the risk of the CPU overheating and exploding! :D We have some of the epoxy laying around from previous "missions", so we're going to hunt for it while I let my baby rest.

I'll be back real soon, with all of my steam games back and running at full screen. I'll also be playing Blockland again, especially now that it's not running on a bullstuff mac.

Thermal paste isn't an epoxy.

I was wondering where you were. :D

Heh, if you get a boot failure, always check your RAM first.

Peh. Whatever. It's gooey stuff that holds things together.
