My server has no ping.

I've been making a left 4 block and Mirror's Edge server every now and then,then I put in the title,"IRC ME IF NO PING" I was spammed to death. What causes this and how do I fix it? Cookie for any halpz.

You need to port forward to have ping, or have a router that has UPnP and non randomizing whachamacallit.
