Turning anime into people movie is weird ^~^

This movie is going to bug me, with all their messed up facts and weird looking actors. I'm only 40 seconds in and they already had 3 things that annoy me. 1, their eskimo coats are tan and normal. Where the hell is the blue and white fuzziness? 2, Aang's arrow. wtf? and 3. once powerful nation, referring to the air nomads. They didn't have a military and didn't fight.

But im still gonna watch it :P anybody know what time period its taking place in?
