By being buff, according to Game.
Its a shame you avoided adding "the" behind "game".

1. get out
2. if money hadnt been invented, the world probably wouldnt have war over something worth money.

Humanity is the problem, get rid of the problem, the answear is in sight.

Here's a plan: Go underground, build a town, and start the first-ever black market bartering store :D

Money makes the world go round.
Money also makes the world go insane.

Money is a motive. Imagine a world without money; no-one would be motivated to do anything.

"The needs of the many..."
Outweigh the needs of the few. Or the one. :)

Nothing sucks when you got Benjamin:

Grumpy

Once again, the point is that money is not the problem, humanity is.
Then change the topic title or make this more clear.

You can not change instincts, at least not with our current technology, so what do you propose we do to fix this? Getting rid of money (which is what you are saying, or did say) will not get rid of the problem

Even if we replace our currency with something tangible, as you said, humanity is the problem. Whenever there is large demand and short supply, there will be trouble. Whenever you have large groups of people spread out across the world, there will be groups with different interests and that will lead to trouble.

Personally I'm glad we have money, I doubt we'd have the technology we have today without it. Without it, we wouldn't be able to even talk about this. We'd be living in our own separate communities and have less chance of interacting with people across the globe.

You're forgetting about the will to live, which will motivate more things (possibly creation of more money).

Having such a thing as liquid currency is so much more efficient than bargaining-by-tangible-goods that I can't believe anyone would be silly enough to say that liquid currency is bad.

The problem with 'liquid' currency is that it can be created from nothing, which throws things off. However, that is a completely different argument then what is being talked about in this thread.

It can, but it shouldn't.

What people don't realize is that FDR, by taking us off the gold standard, effectively trapped us in the depression, never mind all of his wealth-redistribution schemes.  Capitalism works great when it's capitalism, but since FDR, America has become a mixture of socialism-corporatism that doesn't actually work and creates huge amounts of debt.  But, "Capitalism" gets all of the blame, because that's the way the media and our leaders portray it, and we go further and further towards destroying ourselves through subsidizing non-productive individuals.

Yay, America!
