Point is, you create a situation where everyone is forced to become equals due to advanced technology where all monetary value has collapsed and people will be forced to strive to work for the betterment of the whole rather than just themselves, you have a society no longer in need of money. It might fail due to people clinging to the need for material wealth for the first few generations, but eventually they'll realize that it will lead them right back to the crash and they'll start all over again. Sooner or later they'll get it in their heads or simply become extinct.
