Author Topic: Olympic luger killed in crash.  (Read 2587 times)

In Vancouver, during a practice run, a 21-year old luger from the country Georgia was killed after he had surpassed the retaining wall on one of the fastest courses in the world and hit an unpadded steel pole. He could not be revived by doctors, dying at a nearby hospital. This proves that the olympics can sometimes be more dangerous than you think.

ONtopic:  He had it coming, IMO...    They also said that the stadium officials didnt check the course before he went, they even warned him it was dangerous.

I know, I mean holy stuff. He goes up the curved wall, flies over the track and hits the damn pole. It's concerning everybody in the Olympic committee.

Well... That's a good start to the games. :/

Expect a memorial at the opening ceremonies.

Oh snap, there's video. :X
