You probably would like to know what that is, right?
Basically, it's just shoes, but they are made for grinding. They were introduced by Chris Morris with the brand name "Soap" in 1997 and simultaneously invented a new extreme sport based on Aggressive Inline Skating

Basic Tricks

Here are the very basic tricks that can be performed with Soap shoes:
Frontside- The most basic trick, run up and grind with your feet perpendicular to the rail.

  • Royale- Both your feet are tweaked out in the direction you are grinding.
  • Fahrvergnugen(A.K.A. Farf)- Both your feet are tweaked in the opposite direction you are grinding.
  • Backside- Many tricks can be performed backside, to do this run up to the rail with your back facing it, and jump on it.
  • Cheesegrater- Like a frontside, only with your feet facing in opposite directions on the rail.
  • Drag Queen- Grinding with your front foot, while your trailing foot is sliding on the toe.
  • Unity- Like a frontside, only with your legs crossed.
  • Savannah- The savannah is like a unity, except that you cross your front leg over your back leg.
  • Tourque- To perform a torque, you only slide with your frontfoot in the farhrvergnugen position, and grab your backfoot
  • Backslide- You have your backfoot in the royale position, and grab your front foot with your leading hand.
  • Pudslide- Grind with your back foot in farf position, and grab your front foot.
  • Suislide- You grind with only your front foot, and grab your back foot with your front hand.

It actually came to my mind that instead of just being lazy at home I could do some random sports but nothing seems to be really intressting. So, me playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle I've noticed quite a few adverisements for those Soap Shoes and I noticed that Sonic has some special shoes so it crossed my mind and I actually found that.
The saaaaad part is that there are no Soap Shoes around here in my area so I'm probably buying a pair off from the internet.

So. What do you think of this shoes? Ever tried it? Worth the money? And how long would it take to learn proper grinding with them?

I've got my TV back in my room so I have more time playing old consoles instead of just playing on my XBox and being on the PC.

Darn, I thought it was shoes made of soap :(
I am sad now D:
