Author Topic: Gloryous pc master gameing race Vs some friend named hit man.  (Read 3923 times)

I've spent hours on Oblivion, yet I've also spent a few hours with friends on a Wii.
It can be fun with good company, and has more group games.

Hell, I remember the old Need for Speed games on PC where two people would crowd around one keyboard and try to keep their car on the road.
When it comes to group entertainment with one machine, consoles are better.
If you have a dozen PC's to make a LAN party, sure, go ahead, but at least consoles don't worry about lag, etc.

I am partial to PC's because I do a lot more than play games, but I do see a place for something like consoles in a home.
i remember that one bunny hopping game where everyone crowded around one keyboard hopping on eachothers heads and busting a gut.
also, gamepads fix the whole crowding thing

Megaguy, I'm a pc gamer, and you're a bandwagoner. You said that all consoles except the ones from nintendo sucks, fanboy.

No modern PC games have multiple players on one PC support anymore.
And PC's don't support multi-imput or anything like that.

there is this one gamepad with four controllers in one cord

I understand what you're saying, but only emulated games and really old PC games would benefit from that.
Crysis, etc don't have that feature.

And, seeing as you have to own the game itself before you can use emulated rom's on a PC, it is sort of defeating.

I, personally, would be overjoyed if developers considered people plugging in that sort of device and playing on the one PC. It would really kill off the need for consoles altogether (this isn't a PC supremacist thing; but it would be cool to roll all the devices into one completely).

No. I mean plugging two mice and setting them to individual controls for two characters in a game, like consoles do.

He's bandwagoning with ARC

For console specs. If we could modify stock consoles and add hardware and then adjust video settings, then that would work, but it would distance the work environment that is the PC from the games.

From the chat log it looks to me you were being an arrogant douche bag.  Not that you weren't one before this topic!

Well I didn't know. I was just saying how I felt on the matter. it kind of makes sense to do away with the boxes and the cables and just have one unit.

Guys, if you have no friends because you sit on your PC all day, then the Wii is obviously not for you.

Besides, Armored Core isn't for the PC. (I wish it was.)
