Never said anything about not allowing demos so:

Serious Sam: The First Encounter demo
Serious Sam: The Second Encounter demo
Call of Duty 4 demo
Operation Flashpoint: Cold War CrCIA demo
Quake II demo
- Operation Flashpoint has multiplayer and singleplayer, but multiplayer is LAN-only as far as I know.
- Serious Sam has a button for multiplayer on the menu, but I'm not sure if it's LAN-only or if it can be played online.

Source (Half-Life 2) mods:

Research and Development
SMOD
Zombie Master 1.2.1
Synergy 1.1
Zombie Panic!: Source

Free, online games

America's Army
America's Army 3
Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
- HL2DM is only free by a certain download link and only if you have an Nvidia or ATI graphics card.
- NVIDIA link: http://steampowered.com/nvidia/
- ATI link: http://steampowered.com/ati_offer1a/
- HL2DM and AA3 * require STEAM.
- The listed HL2 mods will work as long as you have the Source SDK Base installed on Steam. The SDK is included with all Source games (HL2DM is a Source game, but the free version doesn't include the SDK, because, well, it's free.)

* Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm only bothered by sounds playing over HLSS if it's:

1. Bad quality
2. A bad song
3. On ZPS (I like to be able to focus on surviving. Oh, and being able to hear.)
4. Played by some idiot who just plays unfunny sound clips completely at random (THIS is the definition of mic spamming, not somebody playing a good song with good quality at fitting times)

ZombieMod: Source [Uses tons of "borrowed" content and poorly used sounds but it's still fun]

I tried this last night. Even with mat_dxlevel 81 and everything on low I got about 5-15 FPS on the only map and all I did was wander around lost, bored, and confused and getting the truck stuck on various things including zombies and a wall. The only thing I liked was the truck.

Oh also there's tons of buildings. But very few of them have doors that actually open.

I'm only seeing 3 buttons. Even if a game did work on it you wouldn't be able to control it fully unless it was either tetris or pong.

The front looks like it would hurt if you smacked someone.
It's a heavy, metal object, of course it's going to hurt.

It fell out a window? It probably survived the fall. Rejoice! Insects don't weigh much!
