« on: May 26, 2009, 07:27:18 PM »
I haven't seen any topics for Mad World, looks like a pretty sick game. My friend has it, says it's good, but the commentators are a bit repetitive.

Its all black and white, except for the blood..... cool.

Anyone play it? Is it any good? I'd like to know. Discuss and what not.

« on: May 15, 2009, 04:03:40 PM »
So, yesterday I saw the Tragically Hip live! They are freakin' amazing! For some reason I don't think they're that big outside of Canada, but I'd say there one of the biggest bands in/to come out of canada (besides Rush and what not)

Anyways, it was probably the biggest concert I've been to.

Discuse tragically hip or any other live experiences

So my cat knocks it over to get at the chicken and I was about to stop him then I thought it might be amusing so he licked it and then went nuts for a bit cause it was spicy, he did it i think 5 times before he caught on.

Im in a grade 9 music class playing the Tenor Sax, I also play drums but everyone I know including my drum teachers, told me that grade 9 drumming is easy, so I decided to take a different intrument

Anyways on to the point, my teacher is offering bonus marks to kids who bring in really good free website, Stuff that helps kids out learning there instruments or music in general. Over all were a Jazz school so we will be learning jazz.

Sites that my teacher  already knows about

Musictheory.net
Expert Village
Vic Firths website
And some other crap.

Im not talking like teacher might like me, Im talking several percent bonus :D So anything is good, a good rhythm/percussion site would be sha-weet

Off Topic / Just played Duncan Hills jingle :D
« on: January 12, 2009, 06:17:25 PM »
Well my friend nailed the solo in Duncan Hills coffee jingle (by dethklok) so our band decided to try and play it. It was pretty sloppy but we managed to do it

We don't have a singer but we normally don't play that kind of music, anyways  I felt it was a pretty big accomplishment :P

Creativity / Band Logo
« on: January 02, 2009, 07:58:29 PM »
Hey guys! I'm stealing bones4 idea and asking for a little help from the community.

Our band name is Hatch, the only "gigs" we've done were high school talent shows and other stuff like that. But it would be nice to have a logo for my bandmates myspace and band website. Anyways if any ones up to it that'd be great.

It doesn't have to be spectacular

(if any ones curious I'm the drummer)
