does anyone have experience with maya
i'm at my wits end trying to do something incredibly simple like divide a face into loving subsections. also the isometric/orthographic controls are godawful compared to blender - doesn't seem like it can smoothly rotate the view in said mode.

so far the only thing i've really appreciated is that i can delete edges and it will automerge faces, but that's little comfort.

Edit Mesh>Add Divisions, alternatively hold shift and right click, then add divisions is in there too.

As for the camera, it is generally a bad idea to tumble the ortho cameras, just stick to the perspective, if you need other views hold spacebar and right click on the Maya block in the marking menu, your other views are in there.

normal map's straight from the game so
In that case I would says it was an OpenGL normal map and you are previewing it using Direct X, or vice versa.
do you use an image editor primarily or a program directly for texturing?

also looks great
That was textured using Substance painter, trying to get better using it.
Also some wires if your into that sort of thing:

I think you need to invert the green channel on your normal map.

I made a game for Android!

It plays similar to Flappy Bird with a few differences. I would really appreciate it if people download it and left a rating or review, cheers.

Put my RPG-7 onto new PBR Sketchfab.
Normal map might take a while to load depending on your internet.

Sketchfab does PBR now, so yeah...

Also Badspot, would be great if you added Sketchfab embed support... just sayin.
