That's a bit over the edge. I'm a total gun advocate, but children are under 18 and not complete consenting human beings and therefore need parental consent in order own a gun, or anything for that matter.

Why do people shoot up schools and not firing ranges? Firing ranges have guns

therefore the solution to making schools safer is to put a gun everywhere

What if the officer decides to shoot up the school? Every staff member should be armed and trained in counter-terrorism to balance each other out

Thats not good enough, the children should be able to take small arms to school with them. Think about it, there would be no fights ever. Like whos gonna fight someone who has a gun?

We need to have more officers that are better armed in schools. I say a good ration is like 1 for every 50 or 100 students in the school.

I don't think the second amendment goes far enough. If the goal of the second amendment is to defend us from a tyrannical government, the people need some more heavy weapons. Everyone needs stinger missiles, rpgs, armored personnel carriers, etc. I mean, your 9mm pistol isn't going to save you from the Abrams tank rolling down your neighborhood, nor will it save you from the mafia shooting up your house with rpgs. Giving everyone weapons like this will make everyone safer.
