probably any old forum for a band is like this place. i heard from someone else that there are a few small weezer (🤮) forums that were fairly popular but eventually got super niche as forums started to die off.

not too surprised about the amount of programming jobs people have here. if i could wrap my head around software a bit more i'd probably still be going down the IT path but i let my A+ expire 3 years ago lol

now that us remaining few are (at least legally) adults, i'm wondering what your jobs are now. like how many of us are doing professional work and how many are working part time/in school/forever stuck as a walmart greeter. would like to think every 14 year old embarrassing themselves on this forum eventually became successful oligarchs but we all can't be winners i guess.

i just went to the local bass pro and tried out their boots, got some nice waterproof ones that have treated me well. i do have some red wings steel toe but that's for work, i wouldn't suggest them for hiking due to their price.

i'm back with another loving thread like this. i need wider a lens for my X-T30. right now i have a xf35mm f/1.4 r lens and it's served me well but its field of view is too damn tight. i like its compactness but the lack of any meaningful zoom is also a pain at times. i've been looking at this but i think that may be overkill for what i do (nature photography and still objects). anyone got any suggestions? i wish the photography megathread was still around.
