I love the straight answers.

Is there really no ETA at all?  Just curious.

I stacked road plates on top of each other to simulate a ramp.

General Discussion / Re: v11 Physics: Bounce
« on: February 03, 2009, 06:58:42 AM »
Um....I don't like it.   Still needs work IMO.

There's WAY too much "shockwave" on the bullet.   And the bricks are too flimsy...like the whole building/walls are just loosely stacked on top of each other instead of firmly cemented in place like I imagine a building should be.

I feel the bricks bounce around too much too.  Maybe they aren't "heavy" enough?

I'm not an expert or anything....just trying to provide some input.   =)

Still....I'm pumped for V11!  Gonna be epic!

I played roblox for about 45 seconds...and was infinitely frustrated.   Been playing Blockland since.  =)

I want to try my hand at modeling...as I have prior experience using 3D tools.   But I don't know the first thing about scripting, and I can't even view the add-on files to get started.

All I really need right now...are the dimensions of some of the vehicles, so I can make my own.  Are there dimensions in the script?  And if so....feet, inches, meters?

I'll cross other "bridges" when I get to them...but for now...I just want to design some cool vehicles.

I don't know how big or small to make them though....   =/

I would send you pity money, but that would bring up unwanted issues, so get a large cardboard box , tear it into big peices, paint "HELP THE POOR" or for your case "HELP THE BLOCKLAND-LESS" and have a little hat beside your feat so people can throw change in it,  oh and for added effect, severley tear some of your clothes and wear them, and maybe roll on some mud just to add that little speacial effect to it.

PS. If a guy offers you twenty dollars to get into his van, do it, it will be over soon enough, unless he kidnaps you after he has his way with you, or run away like satan is chasing you, either way works.

Probably the best advice so far.

Are they all bricks that YOU placed yourself?    If someone else places bricks somewhere on the map, and you save it....it may not save those bricks.

Saber ninja ported it once. Will get a pic ASAP.

Is his name "Saber ninja"?  Or did he port it in a way that a ninja would port it?

I just DL'd the sled today...and it's pretty neat.  Another way to get down a slippery slope if you don't like skis.   It's a bit tricky to launch from it's platform, but I like it so far.

Would still like to see a snowboard.

If I could get my hands on a recent version of AutoCAD....then you might see a model with an unprecedented level of detail.   I'm pretty excited to be able to actually use my schooling for something finally....never thought it'd be with toy blocks however.   =P

Sorry about my grammar.  I've been doing a typing class, so I tried typing how you're supposed to and I was tired too.  It was midnight, and I'm usually not that bad.

I think that ^ is much easier to read....nicer to look at as well.   How old are you anyway?
