EDIT: Anyways, there's no point in arguing this. It generally boils down to "my parents won't pay for the game so I can't play it".
You have a point ;)

I hate you, just by that one post.

Wha... Why?

(Removed lengthy explanation)

I don't think it's anyone's choice except the parent's on what games the kids can play and what rating they can play...

Ok, I'm 15, I have a kinda working PS1 (still love it <3), A really old PS2 (most of my games for that don't work because PS2 is too old to read or game disks are to scratched up) and a Wii.  I have my MAC SCHOOL laptop (which disregarding the rules I DO intall some software, they can sue me if they get all pissy about it) and a PC without a hard drive (my Dad says he will get one for me eventually, I really don't care because I have a school laptop ;) ) And on my Wii I have like, maybe 13 games MAYBE.  Most of which I cannot find (curse my lack of the abality to fail to see things right in front of me) and I REALLY only play the GH 3, and 5.  I have some of the old N64 games on my virtual console (2 of them, each 10 dollars).  I do whenever I get money lately buy things on steam.  Get the Jedi Knight series, even if only one of the games!  Or how about DooM!  That game is like, 5 dollars on steam and it runs on ANYTHING.  Then go download Skulltag and use the doom.wad or doom2.wad (hopefully the later as it works better with Skulltag) and place tat in the same directory as Skulltag.exe.  Boot up and enjoy!  That should run on ANYTHING!  IT EVEN RUNS ON MAC!

It's really not that expensive.

Let me give you a run down of why it's a better deal than most games now.

Alright, so most games now cost 60-70 dollars when they are brand new. The average playtime you get out of most of these games is 10 hours. So you spend 60-70 dollars for 10 hours of game play. Perfect example of this is Fable 3. On top of this, most game developers don't support their games much after they release them, probably due to the fact that they won't make much more money on them after the first year. Good example of this is Oblivion (for PC). The community has patched more of that game than Bethesda has. Lastly, most of them time you get charged for additional content, such as DLCs, which maybe give you another hour or two for 10 dollars.

So now, take an MMO with a monthly subscription:
You pay the upfront cost for the key, which includes your first month of game time. Say that, at minimum you, play 2 hours a day during the school week and another 5 a day on the weekend. That's already 20 hours for the first week. You'll probably play the game for at least a few months if you like it enough, so that could be anywhere from 240 to 320 hours to over 3 to 4 months, respectively. Now, looking at this from an overview, if the game cost 70 dollars initially, and then 15 dollars each month for 4 months, you've paid 130 dollars total. This is 40 cents for every hour you played. Taking the other game, at 70 dollars for 10 hours, it costs you 7 dollars for every hour you played. Even if you get 20 to 30 hours of time out of it, it is still 3.50 to 2.30 dollars per hour. Also consider that you may only play your new game for a week, and say you got a new game every week for something to do, that's now 280 dollars a month.

Along with this, content for MMO's is generally FREE. Usually expansion size content is not, but generally it is. For WoW you get new tiers of content every 4 months, and those tiers last for usually 4 months. One game in particular charges 20 dollars a month, but they've stated every expansion that they release will be given to their users for free.

Finally, these games are constantly patched and updated to ensure a good gaming experience for their users.

Blizzard knows this. They make more money on WoW in one year then all the console games combined sold that year will make.

EDIT: Oops, messed that calculation up a bit, included the 15 dollars for the first month "free" with the total. It would be 115 for 4 months at 36 cents an hour.

I usually get much more time out of my games, TF2 for example, I have played that for 100+ hours and still enjoy.  Not only that but I got it in the orange box so instead of being 20 dollars for that one game it was 30 for 3 games, 10 dollars for 100+ hours of game fun.  AND it is being constantly updated.  Not trying cramp your style ;P but just saying some retail games like TF2 can have tons of game time, replay value, and cost effectiveness.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, hope this game goes good, I'm not even going to try and get a beta key seeing as right now I'm limited to my school MAC, school part's not bad, MAC part is :(

Look ma!  More games!

I hear you like multiplayerz, Any of the quake series, 2 and 3 are my personal favorites.
I hear the unreal series is good, as in Unreal tournament and such.
Also when I said doom earlier, I meant the originals, as in no Doom 3 seeing as the originals to me are much better.
Photoshop!  (joke)

On a side note are you using a Mac or Windows?  Most of what if not all the games I suggested are for Windows unless you go and get a Mac specific version.

Doom, I see you do not own any Doom games, shame...
Duke Nukem 3D, you seem to lack 2.5D fps games :(
Wolfenstein games are also good.

mmm...
Some suggestions might be:
Half-Life 2, all episodes and deathmatch
Half-Life Source and Half-Life Source deathmatch
The Jedi Knight series!  At least Dark Forces, Outcast, and Academy
Foreign Legion Buckets of Blood, that is a good game.
I see you have tf2, maybe Poker night at the Inventory?

wants it badly.

I really wish these Wii haters would leave.  The Conduit was a fun shooter for the Wii.  Yes I said SHOOTER and WII and GOOD in the same sentence without the word not >.>

Really though this game looks great, I really hope it can even slightly stand up to the N64 version.

As I said in the really long topic name, could some one do this song?
I would really appreciate it!
Hopefully you could get the main chorus that begins with "All I ever wanted..."

mine, well this name "underdog11" came from roblox (i know i know, sue me :P)
I had messed up several other accounts there that had my usual user names (except the one I use now) and so I was watching the movie underdog then.  One of my other user names had an 11 in it.  Well, I kind of am an underdog, so this was the result.

My ingame name varies between two, Freariose, and Wolfstar.  Freariose is the most common for me, I got it from apple seed Ex-Machina, when I thought Breareose's name was actually Freariose.  Well since Freariose is so unique I'm the only one that uses it :P.  Wolfstar came from when I read the Warriors series a lot (FTW!) and made up the cat Wolfstar.  He was the leader of Thunderclan a while before Bluestar.  And was kind of "reborn" a ways after Firestar.
