Drama / Re: Badspot: - IM THE REAL BADSPOT!!!!!

I saw this guy once on some random server, actually. He kept doing stupid stuff, I just tended to ignore him.

Doing that seemed to have sped up the Blockland reboot process by a minute or so. I'll try again later.
By the way, while testing, I found something funny.

Documents\Blockland//Blockland.exe is a bit... weird.

Check if any of your Blockland files are read-only, if they are, make them not read-only.

Other than that, I have no idea what could possibly cause a problem like this.
I've went ahead and checked if the game's folders had any read-only files by clicking the folder's properties, and I found out that there was a square on the read-only checkbox. So I selected the whole Blockland folder, set it to read-only and it's sub-things, then set it back to not-read-only. I'll test it in a few minutes to see if that fixed it.

NFS: Hot Pursuit 2010
What a disaster.

Sorry for the double post but there's no editing in the Help section, most of my computer's details are on the link I put up in the OP. My Blockland is on the My Documents directory if that's important.

...ESPECIALLY if I (in)voluntarily terminate it's process (due to some alt-tab crashing related shenanigan). And considering I need to keep BlocklandLauncher focused at all times when it's booting, this can lead to alot of wasted time. Anyone else has this? I swear I get the weirdest, most non-existant issues (according to Google and such) when it comes to computer things.

This doesn't happen with any other application;

All of my drivers are up-to-date;

The BlocklandLauncher.exe IS on the process list when I execute it, it just takes a thousand years to do anything;

I never had this problem with previous BL versions;

This stops happening when I restart my PC, which leads me to believe that Blockland develops some sort of anti-addiction measure for the user whenever it's exited. No, I'm not willing to restart my computer every few hours, or every few MINUTES if I forget something up;

Here's a related issue of mine.

Maybe I should format my computer since it's been... quite some time since I last did. But that's unrelated.

7
Another detail I should add is that the crashing happens when I click the game window to go back to Blockland. If I go to a Steam chat window, or any window that isn't covering the screen, I can still see the gameplay working fine.

8
What doesn't make sense is how no one else has this problem. Even if I put shaders off it still does it.
Also wow, the console.log this time was 10 MB large. I cut it down to the relevant part. You can find it here: http://www.mediafire.com/view/?8jeep9l349slup7

General Discussion / Re: Things you get sick of seeing in Blockland

People who have love roleplays in normal servers.
Seriously, what the forget.

There we go. I'll post a list of addons in a sec.

Hey people, it's been a while.

Alt-tabbing seems to randomly crash or disconnect me out of servers, and in worst case scenario Blockland stops working altogether until I restart my PC. This never happened in v20. Any ideas?

Details:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit SP1

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 255 @ 3.1 GHz

RAM: 4 GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz

Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. M4N68T-M-LE-V2 (AM3)

Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD6850 (Sapphire/PCPartner)

Addons: Will list tomorrow.

Other details: UPnP is off. I play on Windowed mode, Shaders on max, 1280x720 resolution, 100 FOV.

I fixed it!

Here's how you do it:
You do NOT port forward, instead you enable UPnP and you're done.

Apparently, port forwarding and having UPnP disabled didn't work for some reason. It should have, but whatever.
It's weird though, I had the ports forwarded and UPnP enabled in the old days, I never had issues.

So, if you're having the same problem, try this out.

Bump for more information.
This time I've enabled UPnP with the ports forwarded with "Amplified Security" disabled, the console generated another thing about UPnP.

I don't really remember seeing any of these lines about UPnP when I hosted properly last time. Usually it just initialized it and went along with it's life.

15
Okay so here goes.
I used to host alot back then. I even hosted past Summer for a brief period.

But today, on the 1st January 2012, having Blockland seemingly evoluted to V20, I cannot host servers anymore. When I press "Query Internet", my server doesn't show up on the top 10 servers with less ping. Upon further investigation, I found my poor server with a Ping ---, that means it's not pinging as far as I know.
I tried port re-forwarding, disabling/enabling UPnP both in Blockland and on the router, hosting without Add-ons, uninstalling Hamachi, etc.

None of those worked. But I'm not done just yet. If anyone could help me in this dillema, it'd be great. It could be Packet Shaping from the ISP but I seriously doubt it.
Console.log is attached to the post.
