Help / Re: Unable to fix "Authenticating..."

Alright you seem to be receiving replies from the auth server, I don't understand why your not able to authenticate. I guess just try downloading the demo as mentioned above and inputting your auth key (if you purchased the game through steam you won't be able to do this though)

Full wiped Blockland from my system. Downloaded demo and unblocked it (it was the only thing I COULD unblock). Ran with fill admin, gave as many permissions as I possibly could, turned off my Avast just in case.

Nothing.

I meant for you to type that into command prompt, not in blockland lol

Man, I'm an idiot XD

I got this:

Open cmd, type
Code: ("Command Prompt") [Select]
ping 162.159.245.202
If you receive replies, try using a fresh non-steam version of Blockland. Download the demo then put in your authentication key.

http://cloud.blockland.us/Blockland_Setup.exe

Make sure to right click the file and hit unblock, then apply, if present.

I got this:

Do you possibly have Zone Alarm or some active anti-virus possibly blocking the programs auth connection?

I use Avast but this problem has been present since before I had it, and I've got it fully ignoring my entire steam folder

This is very odd. You claim Blockland is allowed through the computer and network firewalls, but you cannot auth....

Right click your blockland.exe and see if there in an unblock option. If not, check the security tab and make sure your user has all permissions. I'm not sure how this would effect your authentication though O.o

Full control enabled, no unblock option

Are you using mobile or satellite internet?

Nope. Using my home router. Cable.

Blockland by default uses 28000, not 8000. Unless you changed its settings.

yeah, sorry, it was 28000 -  28030

Is your router blocking the specific ports the game uses?

I have ports 8000 - 8030 open. I've tried running the game with my router's security completely turned off, but that didn't work either.

Check your firewall and be sure it is allowing Blockland through.

It is. I've even tried turning off my firewall and running the game, but it didn't work.

Just to ensure I covered my bases I just went in and deleted my add-ons folder and launched it. Didn't fix it.

Thank you for even attempting to help though, I appreciate the effort

That means your internet is not the issue here. Have you tried launching without any add-ons? Or re-installing?

I've got a completely clean build. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times, primarily on steam.

Please go to http://auth.blockland.us/ and tell me what it says.

It's a white page that says auth.blockland.us
