I've fixed the thing above but still one thing, How do you got into edit mode?
I press tab, does nothing...
I click the Button that say what mode you're in, theres only object mode in the list...
It started when I placed the mountPoint

I've exported it but I can't find the DTS file. Where is it exported to?

What's wrong with this?

First, I couldn't go into edit mode unless the armature (whatever its called) is selected

Second, it said after you've named the thingy mountPoint, add an empty. I tried to but it just said "Add -> Bone".

and Third, on your pic the armature had lines next to them, what where those?

Down:
A pic to show you the second question
Help would be much apriciated - thanks spell checker :) appreciated

Hi Darktar, this is really helpful!!

I'm wanting to know how to take a picture of a model in blender without using prt scr.

By the way I'm CheeseDragon, I just can't be bothered to change my name on the forums :cookie:

EDIT: I still want to know how but heres a prt scr pic of my Colt .45 I'm working on. It may look crap to you because this is my fist model :D

Step one says you have to Download the free version of sketchup then step 2 (since I have 1 comp) says you have to download the pro trial. So that meant I had the free version and the pro version. But I didn't. Once i had the free version installed i couldn't install the pro trial without the pro trial replacing nearly all of the free version and getting an error.

So this didn't work for me

hello

Anyways, before you post another negative comment I would like you to think if you could make something better than what he did...

Many people comment negatively and they can't even model...

Anyways again, awesome gun!

  • Triangles to Quads: Alt J. One of the useful things in blender is, unlike milkshape, faces can be made out of 4 vertices or 3. Milkshape can only use 3. This reduces polys in blender and makes editing easier.
I love you.

Modification Help / Re: Exporting my model as a .DTS problem
« on: July 05, 2010, 01:10:05 PM »
I think I got the same problem, the console says: No Module named DTSPthon (Or something like that).

Yes, I'm not sure what's wrong then. You might not have the right version of python installed then. It should tell you what version it needs in the console, and then just google python *whatever version* and install.

Aah, it said to get Python 2.6 but i got python 2.6.[something]. Even though Python 2.6.[something] worked with Blender, I'm gonna see what 2.6 does.

EDIT: Heheheh. Thanks for telling me, it worked!

You must've installed it wrong or something. Google it and download the latest version.
I did that but i got the same error...

Also, it was a zip file so i extracted all the files, was that the right thing to do?

I made a dart but do you need to have joints or so for a projectile?

Also, my DTS Exporter has broken and I'm not good at adding Textures

It says Error: No module named DTSPython
