The Block Division

A group for filming, having fun, and being together!

TBD Is a Blockland group dedicated for building, hanging out, and making videos.
The group can also be found from the gaming community "Steam" with the name "The Block Division".
The Group currently has about 70 members from countries around the globe. The group also makes videos in other games such as: Team Fortress 2, Synergy (a Half Life 2 Coop mode), Modern Warfare 2 and many others. But the main game of interest is Blockland.

Here's some info of the group:

The Block Division currently has 7 admins in it. That includes 2 owners and the head admin, and 4 regular admins. All the admins currently are in Steam but I am starting to recruit admins through blockland as well.

Our "partners": The Block Division currently has 2 groups as "partner" groups. These groups are the "Level Masters" and "The Dudes TM". When all our 3 groups members are combined it forms a medium size of 500-600 members.

About Sky Hawk: I am the leader of The Block Division, one of the Head Admins in Level Masters, and an admin in The Dudes TM. This is all because like I said, we are partners. I use many names: In Steam I am "JIGSAW" but I can be found better with name "^5[TBD-0]^9JIG^5SAW". in Blockland forums I am known as Sky Hawk, and in Blockland I am Mini-me.

How to join the group: If you want to join the group you can PM me in the forums. If you want to join via Steam you can add me to your friends list. This means I will help you with any problems or suggestions you would like to give.

The primary goals of the group: The primary goals are: Friendship, Teamwork and Duty.
The friendship means that we all indeed come along very well and help each other in the time of need.
Teamwork means that we are capable of doing great things with our teamwork. We are well prepared to work in teams to get to our goals.
Duty means our duty to building in Blockland, making videos, and making our group grow.

Additional Info: The members are fully authorized to build things for our group, invite members, suggest any ideas to the group, and also free to play with us anywhere at anytime. Our group welcomes all new members warmly and we are prepared to help you on your way to becoming one of our greatest members.

I really like Lego Universe. I personally think it is an awesome game. Lego Universe is a MMO game with alot of fun stuff. Quests, freebuild or just hanging out. I also like the way it is so large in size and players can create custom vehicles to use easy, fast and well. I also like the fact that Lego Universe has a great storyline. I am sure I will enjoy every minute of it when the official launch date comes at 12th of October.

Well I guess this is just the thing alot of people like to do: Rage without reason and/or flame posts because they do not "Like them". If you cannot reply in a constructive way without all of that useless rage, don't reply at all. This is the problem with many players today. If you want to reply to topics, reply with constructive suggestions and criticism. It is OK to give negative criticism but not in a way where it is not constructive. You should always attempt to help people make their topics better.

I am making a new movie group, The Block Division. It is in both Blockland and Steam (the game community). In Steam it is The Block Division. In Blockland I am hosting clan servers from time to time where people can join and meet other members and have fun together. The Block Division: Movies, games, fun... Bringing people closer together for a common purpose. Yeah I made a new topic because I will now start updating this one. I have some new photos. I got the photos because the BLU base is 90% complete now. I have a billboard, a base behind glass like in the RED base. I also have a mining tube and I also posted a picture taken from the front of the BLU base.

Naturally I am working on it as much as I can. I could use all the help I can get so remember to tell me if you want to help. You should be a good builder, have no problems listening to my design plans, and you should also make suggestions yourself. If you think you want to help contact me on IRC, this topic or Steam. Oh BTW! I will be looking for someone to help me with the project. Someone who can build well, has no problems listening to my designs. And also has the courage to give me some suggestions himself. If you think you want to help me contact me on this Topic or on the IRC. My IRC name is Minime. If you decide to help me with the project (remember I only choose 1!) naturally your name will be included in the credits of the save and you will get a SA on my server. Both The listened server I am hosting at the moment AND the dedicated server I will host when the build is done.

I'm really curious how you did the team choosing room with the doors if you've actually completed that part yet.

It is quite simple events. Basically you just spawn in the room, you choose a team by walking to the door. The door gets opened, you go into the team and you end up in your teams class selection room. Basically it is easy to make with simple events:
OnPlayerTouch - NamedBrick - BLU_team_selection_door - Content Start - Unrestricted
OnPlayerTouch - Player - SetTeamName - BLU
OnPlayerTouch - NamedBrick - BLU_Class_selection - SetPlayerTransform - Relative
Of course I added a few extras for example a few sounds and a notification and such but those are not important.

On topic, i don't like it. lack of room and very cramped.

It is cramped because it is the hallway of the RED spawn... Not the battle area.
