Marijuana is a huge industry that if legalized will stimulate the economy, create jobs and a new market. Its not bad for you unless smoked ridiculously often. Its not addictive at all, unless you smoke joints mixed with tabacco, like joker card said, if you stop smoking suddenly after smoking routinely for several weeks, you'll feel withdrawals, but you cant be addicted to weed.
Being high is fun. Most people dont smoke often, but it makes for a good time with friends. Where is the harm in it? If its not too bad for you, and you're not endangering/hurting anyone by smoking, what is the problem? Its like someone's decision to go out and have a few beers with friends after work.
I promise you im not a sad sack, I lead a rewarding and productive life, and I would like to think im pretty darn educated after achieving a 4.1 in high-school and making the top ten percentile of my graduating class, yet I smoke occasionally.
Im assuming you've never tried marijuana, so you shouldn't put it down so quickly.
What good comes after being high? The occasional bad side effect and wanting more. That doesn't sound worthwhile
Why would someone happy need to spend money to risk their health to get fake happiness? It's only necessary for sadsacks and the uneducated.
