I really like this idea, it would be GREAT for any moder rpg. But if the server does crash, then your screwed and have to wait another 5 hours, :P. So it would only be good for dedicated servers, that at least back up i guess. Do the BL dedicated servers have an auto-back up system?

Games / Battlefield 3 PC Clans and Tourneys

Hello!
I've been looking around for some BF3 clans or tourneys to join for PC, and so far have found none.
If anyone here is in a tourney and/or clan, tell me, because ive been looking around google for one for a long time.
I'm sort of a noob, im not the best but if I try my best I can get at least 15 Kills and 4-10 deaths.
The main class i use is Support with M249 with an ACOG sight and an MP443 pistol, and use Mortars.

Notes/Comments: I have an old computer that has 512MB of RAM, and a 1 core Pentium 4 Cpu @ 2.8 Ghz. If it turns out to be fast enough, we can use it for a 24/7 dedicated server. Also, I've taken multiple classes for Microsoft Office, and I can use Excel and Access pretty well. I can be a planner, or an agent or something along the lines of that. I can also design buildings, mostly interior.

Would i need RAM to host a server with a lot of people?
I was thinking about hosting a server that would have a limit of 99 players.
The goal would be to get 99 players in.
I have one question about it though.
Would i need a certain amount of RAM or anything like that?
i have an AMD Turion II p540 processor, and not sure how much RAM.

I've been trying to make a program that would update news for the clan im in.
Basically what I want it to do is update news, have people be able to give us applications to be in our clan, view media, and other stuff.
It would be able to go to the Blockland forum, connect to the RTB IRC (which i dont think is possible without RTB agreeing), and connect to RTB mod manager.
OR maybe instead of that, it would have its own IRC and Mod Manager.
The language I want to do this in is VB.NET
I know some , but not much. I need a few people to help, but I COULD do this by myself, but it would take an insane amount of time to do it in.
