Help / Shaders Cause Black Lines

Whenever I set my shader quality greater than "minimum", strange black lines appear on bricks and the ground. (See the screenshot below.) The more I increase the shader quality, the finer these black lines get.

I am running Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion), and my GPU is a Radeon HD 6870.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

(By the way, I do not have this problem when I run Blockland on Windows on this same computer.)

You are right in a way..
I know it is batch :P
No version of Windows made in the last 10 years has used the MS-DOS kernel. All of the versions are using the NT kernel now.

kaje's mini-gun might be legitimately added to blockland. i found it on badspots server a while back.
I think that Badspot had it on his server just to test something related to debris.

Glad someone answered it properly afterwards.
What I meant was that he compiled the code which checked for the swear words into the game itself instead of having a default add-on called something like Client_Censorship.

Ah, thanks. I never noticed that. What I said about the censorship being compiled into the game is still true, but it stores the words as variables that scripts can access.

How does that work? I figured that when you publish a game, all of your scripts, and models, ect, are separated into folders instead of just one huge exe file.
All of the models and scripts are in separate folders. Badspot just chose to include the censorship as part of the underlying code rather than as a modifiable script.

How does the swear filter work then? There has to be some sort of script.
It's compiled into the game.

nor-nor is right, but it would be pretty easy to write a client- or server-sided mod (like the e-tard filter) that censors any instances of the words you define in a text file.
