Used to be fairly active in the Minecraft community, saw them arguing about how it compared to Roblox and this game called Blockland I'd never heard of before back in 2010. Decided to look it up, and ended up making an impulse buy. Don't regret it one bit, probably have like 300 hours logged xD

Nothing really stands out about the gameplay atm, which isn't helped by everything being reset constantly to try to negate the ever-present lag. Would be very nice to see a new take on Fort Wars, but this sadly is just more of the same. Even if the means to keep track of block health were readily available I doubt the host would be strong enough to handle it...for something like that you'd need to rent from Kalphost or RTB. Still, something like a build period or just restricting blocks ingame to create some sort of ceiling for what one can and cannot create would really do the gamemode more justice than no-jet freebuild with guns.

i just want a miniempires server. players are the kings and they are given a golden brick to mark their castle. if the golden brick is destroyed, the civilization falls. fights actually take place so fortress design matters, and buildings have HP. players place down baseplates to determine the building type. the king can command his bots to attack. the king can command the bots through an observer mode, but is limited to his bots line of sight. things like elevation and terrain actually matter, since there will be actual fighting.

it could be played with either bots, regular players, or both. if played with players, they could choose to join a kingdom or start their own if there is still available room. like the servers we have now, there would need to be moderation because i doubt this would work without it.

This sounds really freaking cool. What's it called?

Since last week I've been yearning to figure out how mini-empires would work with actual bots.

Secondly, is it possible to make bots drive vehicles? I've heard of people doing it, but for the life of me all my bots just overshoot the brick I tell them to move to and crash.

 Alright, but how do I get toggleeventenabled to work only on the second one?

Actually, come to think of it, this button will have to tamper with up to 50 different bricks, so is the toggle event feasible for this?

 Basically I want the button onactivate to spawn in1. After spawning in1, the second activate will spawn in2, and so on.

 I've spent the last few days trying to figure out how to make a brick activate vehiclespawners in succession depending on whether the bots on them are already spawned. I tried delays to no avail. Basically, this:

[Button]

[in1] [in2] [in3]

The button would activate in1 and spawn the bot, but not in1 or in3. After pressing the button once, pressing again would activate in2, and so forth. I'm a n00b at eventing and I really don't want to waste my summer days away contemplating how the **** to make this work.

Ok, so recently I became a stickler for bot events since I'm working on this LAPD style blockland build (You know, that awesomesauce mech game for the PS1), so I went on a freebuild server since SP gets lonely D:

So I join the server, and move my bot tests far enough from everyone else's to make sure I don't bother anyone. Than an admin clears spam bricks, and my hapless vehicle spawners disintegrate. I shrug mentally, and rebuild, this time on a baseplate. After finding out MoveBottoBrick refuses to work, I build an invisible baseplate in town to see if my replica will Movetobrick. An admin locates my baseplate and asks for full trust. I deny it, and the admin refers to my 'trick' as "Capt's Hack" (alias is CapTHax). So I continue, but this stupid little admin clad in a duck playermodel yells I SEE SPAM!!11!, and promptly come over to me and 'spams' the remove spam blocks command to no avail. After doing so at least 27 times, he yells WTF into chat.

Upon this the earlier admin claims it's my 'glitch'. Needless to say, the duck-admin doesn't like any stranger's build he can't destroy, or possibly distraught that my choice of names has some underlying meanings. Perma-banned.

The main thing that bothers me is that he SEEKED me out to antagonize me, even if I was hurting no one and minding my own business. I've been hesitant to join a freebuild ever since  :cookieMonster:
