i've been with blockland for ~20 years.. since I was 8 years old. the only blocklander i've met in real life is Demitri blid 13066 and that was for 15 minutes as he was passing through my state. i figured it wouldve happened at some point so that was pretty cool
i have lost touch with most everyone i know from blockland other than him and a few others i see in-game occasionally

i spend so much time at work thinking about playing games and then when i get home then i just get bored when i open them up.. games ive played for years that were endlessly fun, but now its "i have no time for this" or i'm burned out.
also i've made an incredible amount of friends on blockland and never really hear from them anymore however i still talk to one bler that i met in 2009 and we finally met a year ago in person so thats pretty cool

my older brother first started playing it, likely found it through one of his internet friends or G4 tv around the v0002 era, probably right before RTB came out. I started playing when I was 8 or 9 and I am soon to be 26.

this game was basically the start of my internet life. I am thankful for it in many ways and made great friends, learned a lot of good things, and witnessed bad things (the hard way).. especially after my experience on the TBM forums (mix networks) trying to contribute to their gallery and feel like I was somebody, basically an innocent kid and in the end they all stuff on me for trying to fit in, then turned around and sent me (an 8-9 year old) at the time lots of gay/questionable research and send (probably sell) my email address to some black market internet stuff. I was about 9 years old and knew those guys were richardheads anyway but only within the last few years did I stop to think and realize how forgeted up those people were.
