You have tons of addons. and anyone of them could be your problem. I suggest you restart on your addons folder, or atleast delete ones you don't use

I'm not attached to any of them to be honest, I was actually thinking about cleaning out all those extra bricks I don't use. 95% of my builds are all default bricks anyway.

I'll do it and see what happens, If I'm still stuck, I'll post a new console trace.

Go to config/server/Slayer and delete the file called Preferences.cs.

This issue is fixed in Slayer v3 which will be released soon.

Yeah, I'm having the same issue [I think] I went to config/server but there was no file or folder named Slayer... only a text file named prefs. Idk if that's what you were referring to for sure.

I have Slayer, but I can't find it's files, as there is no hint of it in the addons folder either. I don't really care for a fix as much as I just want to delete it for now to get Blockland running again.

I didn't find it manually, it must have been hidden or something. I searched my drive for it and found it, so I moved it to a folder.

I then ran Blockland and RTB was gone, however, the game is still crashing upon placing a single brick.

Take it out of Add-ons.

Doesn't seem to be that simple...

I open my add-ons folder and it's loaded with files. I saw roughly 20-25 files labeled RTB , so I moved those to a folder on my desktop, but when I open Blockland, it still says "RTB Version" etc. in the top right corner. I don't see any other files that appear to be in-connection-with RTB, so I honestly don't know how to go about completely removing it.

It's in beta for a reason. How are Blockland users/mods/devs supposed to know how to fix errors for an OS that isn't even complete yet?

That's like driving a concept car that isn't released yet and driving it into the local mechanic, expecting him to know how to fix technology that isn't even out yet.

The truth is, you probably wont find help for most issues regarding W8 until Windows 8 is actually fully released.

It actually seems to be an error with RTB for some reason.

Try removing RTB (temporarily) and try again.

Feels like a dumb question, but how do I go about doing that?

It's not my RAM. I have run this game on 512 MB of RAM for years... without lag... up until just now. It's something else, and I bet it has something to do with the last update.

In fact, I used to run Blockland while running Firefox and my Windows Mediaplayer at the same time.

No... I need a solution, not excuses.

As pecon said, you can post a normal one.

1. When I right click launcher and click properties, the path is read-only, I cannot edit it and add -trace.

2. When I go in-game and type Trace(1) in the console, it says Syntax Error and nothing else.

most of the people here that agree, also go on to tell a personal story about a not so successful server they tried running.

you sucking at being admins or sucking at having a fun server people would want to join =/= community or game going to stuff.

...and it's because of asshat logic like that, that no one sticks around long enough to become good builders/admins.
