.cs is just the extension that TorqueScript uses. As far as syntax goes, it's more or less similar to PHP, C#, C++ and that sort of language.

Functionality wise it's similar but there's a fair few differences. As far as "Torquescript is C#" goes, you can highlight TorqueScript using a C# Highlighter (that's what I do), but they're two seperate languages.

Not to mention that one's interpreted and one's compiled.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: toggle teleport key?

There's a /warp command for admins, it warps you to the nearest terrain in the straight line where you are looking.

It doesn't work on bricks, but I find it's an excellent tool to bind to a key as it will usually let you move somewhere much faster than having to press f7\f8 and actually scroll there yourself.

I'm sure if you ask around you could get some similar code to how /warp works, though you'd need to do some raycasting checks to see where the nearest brick is instead of terrain. From there, it'd just be a matter of setting the player's location.

Help / Re: how do i get saves from forums onto my saves for BL?

It goes without saying that if you're intelligent enough to change the blockland install folder you should be intelligent enough to know how to access it. Kalphiter just said the C:\Program Files part for the people who don't know how\didn't want to change install directory, and just left it as the default.

The different output functions take different parameters.

It depends what function\s you're using as to what the parameters do.

Help / Re: Authentication failures with valid key

Alright, thank you very much.

I had noticed that when I was playing single player I was referred to as "sticky" despite the capitalisation I had set, but I hadn't thought anything of it at the time.

I'm sure that Badspot will make fix for this.
But there are some main problems to this error, it might be due to:
-IP,Proxy sever, and internet acess (Most likely)
-Blockland Name
-Someone has your key (Unlikely to happend, but still possible)

As far as IP and Proxy goes, this option can be safely ruled out because I can successfully connect and play on servers when I am not using the name Sticky or I am using an alternate key.

As I mentioned before, blockland name seems to be the cause of the issue but I don't know why.

I am the only person with my key as far as I am aware, unless the key was somehow stole from me, which seems unlikely.

Interesting. That does not seem like a valid reason for a key to stop working. I would suggest PMing Badspot and then changing your name until you get a reply.

I'll keep my name as Sticky for the time being, simply for the sake of making sure it's available for my use. I'd prefer not to have to change to another name permanently because another player is using the name.

As to your suggestion of PMing Badspot, I think I might shoot him off an email; failing that, I'll just PM him, as you suggest.

Since it seems there's already a couple of similar topics on the forums I think I might link to them here:
Server could not verify your Blockland ID HELP ME!
Server could not verify your Blockland ID

As was mentioned in one of these threads, using one IP for authentication and then using another to connect to a server will result in an authentication failure. However, this still doesn't explain why I can play perfectly fine with any key unless the name on the key is set to "Sticky". I've tried this on four keys and it happens every time so the only logical conclusion I can come up with is that there's some issue with the name "Sticky". One of the threads was also about RTB, which I do not have installed.

I have yet to see any reason why this would fail. I tried using the tool Badspot suggested, but that really doesn't work in my circumstance.

i kept having this since my brother didnt have the same name now he's got the same name<same Blid>

What do you mean? Is this when you're both playing on a server online, or what?

My LAN name and my Net name are both set to "Sticky" with no inconsistencies, and I'm the only player that uses this key so I don't see how there could be any authentication failures.

I'd also like to make a note of the fact that if you change your name and then change your blockland key the key authentication system will give you a message stating that the name change failed because the name was already in use.

I'm assuming this is because the system sends a name change request when it sends the authentication headers, so the name change for the first client worked but the second client will fail because client one already has that name.

I've done some further testing and it appears that it's not an issue with my id, it's an issue with the name.

I swapped my name from Sticky out to something else and was able to successfully join a server, then when I swapped it back I was unable to join any servers.

I changed the name on one of my other keys to Sticky and then that account was unable to join servers, but when I changed the name on the alternative account back to the original it began working correctly.

I fail to see why there is any issue with my name -- the account has been working fine since version one up till version ten, and now with the advent of version eleven it has spontaneously stopped working.

As before, any help would be appreciated.

It's not the firewall -- As I mentioned, I tried it with three other keys and every time I could connect fine, with no issues. It seems like this is an isolated issue with my key.
