Games / Stonehearth
« on: February 25, 2016, 10:40:24 PM »
Does anyone here actively play Stonehearth? It's a pretty fun town building game. I'm not sure if its open-sourced but I heard you can make add-ons for it too and it leaves lots of room open for ingame creativity. Still in its Alpha Stage but it's already very fun to play. I am not an active member of their community as of yet but they update very routinely and post on their website every week.

An in-game picture i took last night.

Thanks for your time, I highly recommend it, you can find it on steam. If you like this game, I'd say its worth a try.

The question is, how will you deal with the large brickcount given that people will want to build with more than 100 bricks. So far all that i know is that blockland becomes unstable with high brickcount and tends to crash.

EDIT: I really like the idea though, wish you luck.

This. Good luck though.

I think it looks great so far, big fan of your terrain. Sadly there's not much that can be done to add life to water but maybe you can a few lily pads or a log or two to help compliment the rocks you have there. Keep up the good work. :iceCream:

Looks cool man good luck! One of the cleanest city layouts I've seen so far.

Edit: May I ask what the pre-city brickcount is so far? As in how many bricks you've used so far with there still being 0 buildings on the layout.

Suggestions & Requests / Walk Playertype
« on: October 10, 2015, 02:04:32 PM »
Hi, by any chance would anyone know of or know how to make a playertype for RPG purposes that by default uses the walking ("C") speed? It would be even better if there was a "sprint" button that when held down the player would walk at normal speed. Would you think this is a cool idea for someone to create?

At first I was like umm wtf In-n-Out obviously, why is this even a debate but then i noticed how theres actually two vote spots for it adding up to a total of 8 so far. Nice :iceCream:

Edit: and if for some reason an In-n-Out is not built there, I hope to see a Krispy Kreme :)

Suggestions & Requests / Can anyone find Dim Lights?
« on: September 25, 2015, 02:55:10 PM »
I'm trying to make small streetlights and small lights for a couple rooms, but the playerlight is just too bright. Can anyone help me find a nice pack of lights? Even the Dim and Dimmer lights would have been find but everywhere I try and find the Illuminati deleted the file (see what i did there?) Please help!
