I would be willing to host a server if you guys want me to. I have done it before, but I primarily shut it down since there was barely anyone on.

Use your tv (the same one you would use for an xbox) as a monitor. Ask a shop teacher at your school for a crappy mouse and keyboard; you won't notice a difference between those and $200 keyboards unless you're not a casual gamer (xbox gaming is casual gaming). I find it hard to believe that you don't have a single mouse or keyboard in your house that you can use, especially considering that you have a blockland key...

Total price: ~$401
Check the CPU and Motherboard one more time. You have two different socket types (FM2 and AM3+). Also, you're just barely reaching the minimum requirement of 400W for the graphics card, so I would consider getting another power supply.

Hey, I just wanted to thank you guys for this wonderful topic with all of these experiences. It convinced me enough to buy myself a 3DS and this amazing game!

Just picked up both of those yesterday, and currently I'm working on the development permit. Increasing the approval rating is a pain really.

Go into the Bios, go under the diagnostics tab, and if this feature is there, do the "Hard Disk Self Test"

Have you tried accessing the recovery manager? Try pressing F11 on boot.

Tell me every single detail on what happens when you boot that laptop if you could please.
Nevermind, give me a minute I got enough from reading further into this topic..

Edit 2: Can I have the model # of this laptop?

So far, I only have one method for you knowing that you have a XP Pro disk.

1.Try booting from the XP Pro installation disk.
2.Once you get there, you'll see an option to repair/recover, which would most likely be the R key.
3.It'll then ask "What windows installation would you like to log onto?" Usually you would just put in the number 1 for that, then press enter
4.If needed, type in the password,
5.From that point, type in fixmbr, then fixboot.

There's my two cents.

Also, if you're having issues booting with the CD, have you tried accessing the bios and making the first boot priority the CD/DVD drive?

Help / Re: BLOCKLAND GRAPHICS MESSING UP AGAIN!!!!
« on: September 04, 2011, 03:32:30 PM »
Wait, what was the problem?

Under the 3D tab the settings were like this;

Quality:Performance
Filtering:2x
Vertex:Application settings
Sync:Application settings

I then instructed him to make the filtering go to Application settings if there were such a thing, and if that wasn't present, to change the Quality setting to something else other than performance, which lead to the fix.

Few questions.

1: What OS? 32 or 64 bit? (Operating System)

2: Link for the texture pack?

3: Do you have the latest driver for your graphics card?
3a: Are you sure?

PS3, because:

You can make multiple users.

Better games compared to the PSP. (In my opinion.)

and better visuals.

I'm pretty sure I'm up to date on my vid card driver. I'll go update it when I decide to stop being lazy and I'll let you know what happens.
Do you actually go to the Nvidia site and download the latest video drivers, or do you let windows update handle everything for you?

Edit : While I'm trying to get the most recent driver for this guy, I'm getting a 404 each time, even If I try Windows Vista 64-bit.

Escape to some nearby park or store for a couple of hours if you can. When enough time passed, try to investigate around where you think they'll be, then go back home and relax for a bit. If you see them, hide somewhere and listen in to what they're saying so you know what they're planning.
