Controlling jeeps with the mouse can be really difficult at times, and controlling planes often seems to be near-impossible. Holding down C, as I found when I searched for this subject, doesn't really seem to help.

I agree. The only vehicles I'm good with are the jeep and most planes (that includes the magic carpet).
