This is the new, NEW Blockland wiki. It is hosted by DontCare4Free, and there are several active admins since the conversion from Wikia to an actual hosted Wiki service. Here is a breif ruleset for what you should and shouldn't do before you begin editing...
Vandalization - IP ban.
Spamming - IP ban.
Comment Spamming - IP ban.
Edit Warring - Day ban or something. Even the passenger gets in trouble. Just send a message to an admin and they'll decide who's correct.
Creating a page that doesn't belong - Page will be deleted.

It's pretty much common sense. Enjoy everything.

Games / extrude's DayZ server - US 1857

This is a DayZ server I run & own, featuring restarts every 6 hours. It can also hold 40 players, which will usually be occupied by random Russian guys, but if we're going to have a big Blockland meet-up, I can restart the server to force out Russian invaders.

Rules (and things to report):
1. No racism. This is a global rule on all servers.
2. No threats. Also a global rule.
3. No hacking. Another obvious global rule.
4. Do NOT bring in guns that use an ammo format not found in DayZ. For example, PKM and PKM mags.
5. Try to be nice, and don't shoot other players. Unless they don't play Blockland, and then light them up!

Lords of Uberdark is Minecraft with a smooth mesh-like world, yet the developer still refers to it as voxels so I guess it may be related. It's still at a very easly stages, but it has basic crafting, monsters, woodcutting, massive worlds, fluid physics, and all the good stuff for a mining game.

It doesn't have an official release, or release date yet, but it works like Minecraft. If you donate, you get the game in every version, even beta/alpha.

Orbytor is best described as round pong. It's a game where you protect an inner sphere from incoming pongs that imply destruction. It's a pretty simple concept, and I want it to be published on Steam eventually, but the reality is it's incredibly simple. It needs more content to be at the point where Steam would accept it.
The categories I'm looking at are Indie, and Casual.

The reason I posted it here, was because I legitimately need alpha/beta testing. Unlike the average blockhead's idea of it, where you join a server and drive some neat cars, I need you guys to find problems, with graphics or gameplay, and more importantly, give me ideas for other gameplay enhancers.

bugs

1 - Near 0 degree, SEVERE ISSUE
This bug is caused when you try and stop a pong near 0 degrees. It's cause is completely known, and fixable.

2 - Pong artifacting after stopping it, MINOR ISSUE
Pong creates artifacts after stopping/missing it. This was not recreatable since many updates, although still exists I'd assume.

This is where I make a game in the period of a weekend, Friday to Sunday at midnight.

tl;dr jd makes lots of music using some program and gets in to gigantic arguments over nothing

I listened to the first part of 'Computer Moosic' and stopped, because I instantly recognized your preset which was not only the bassline but also the percussion, since they're part of a sequence that I'm pretty sure is from Nexus, or another ReFX VST. Please put more effort into your tracks.. I'll listen to more soon but I don't have time.
Do you have something against dubstep? Your title implies that you look down upon it.

This is how the argument started. It seems like fair criticism and is a decent post.

I'm pretty sure any music you hear other than live-played music that isn't with an acoustic instrument is, by that definition, "compooter music." After all, everything you hear that isn't accoustic/live has to go through some type of amplification (which does require computing) not to mention basic reverb and delay effects most amps produce. If not that, you're probably hearing it through some type of electronics which once again would make whatever you're hearing qualify as "compooter music."
Would you mind expanding upon which three topics you're talking about specifically? The ones that you said were nothing but dubstep.

Example 1: Blackparrot's thread.
He makes progressive house. That's not dubstep.
Example 2: MY thread, are you loving handicapped?
You clearly haven't even bothered to actually listen to anything because if you did you'd notice I have trance music on the first page.
Example 3: Col. Burton's thread
His tracks aren't even of quality to be considered any genre. It was clear he was aiming for dubstep, but he did not succeed. There's not enough effort.
Example 4: Psaurius's thread
I'm seeing ambient, I'm seeing plenty of stuff that's not 'all based around dubstep.'
Number 5 is titled loving '[Electro]...' which is, if you knew your stuff, not loving dubstep.

Your problem is that YOU have no idea what the forget you're talking about. You don't know what dubstep is. You should seriously consider never touching FL again, or any type of digital music production software or hardware. You took a risk trying to grab attention by pointing out that your music 'isn't dubstep.' Well, congratulations, you were right, it's not dubstep! It's not worth listening to in the first place, and I don't know what the forget to call it since it's so loving horrible. There you go, you got what you wanted, attention because your tracks aren't dubstep.
Don't ever consider stuffting on a genre again if you don't even know what the forget it is. Have a nice day, guy.
