I once lit a piece of paper on fire, and for some reason it ignited all at once, resulting in a gigantic flaming piece of paper. Luckily it burned out quickly or my house might have caught.

People don't normally say just "Caught"
They usually say "Caught fire, too" in that context

Well yeah but saying "caught fire" doesn't really even make sense. You can't physically catch fire. And I've heard people say "There was stuff on fire, and that building almost caught!"

I'll change it I guess.

A guy i completely forgot the name of because it was about 3 years ago, decided on the school bus to combine flame +aerosol + leg hair, So we got to enjoy the smell of burning flesh.

One of my sister's friend cooked a pizza on the hood of his car using two or three cans of spray butter, a can of hair spray, and a lighter.
