Why are there so many f*cking sequels to one game?

They make sequels for money.

The sequels usually have better/more content than the first. It also energizes people who like the previous editions to buy the next, if the next one is better.

Most people would want to try a new LoZ after they've finished one. Same with FF.

I mean: Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Gold , Pokemon Fire red, Pokemon Leaf Green, Pokemon Saphire, Pokepon Emerald, Pokemon Indigo (whatever), Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Pearl, Pokemon Platinum, and the 2 that are coming out -_- even for games that arn't related but- for example Super mario brothers 3 and Mario galaxy 2 sure! their great games, but its handicapped about how many sequels are there to mario. Sure halo is good but really shouldn't it have atleast a bit less sequels?

they should make a 1st person pokemon for wii and you have fight real time battles unlike the other ones and use buttons for abiltys and certian ones are activated with actions like um steel wing you would have to flap the remotes around like a bird
