Mount and Blade: Warband

It may look like an RTS from some pictures, but that's only for travelling. Everything else, ingame battles and travelling around cities is all in 3rd or 1st person.

And Warband, unlike the original, has online play.

It's medieval, and there's nothing fantasy in it. Just steel and wood weapons. No fairies, orcs, or dragons. Only horses.

Personally, I've always loved Mount and Blade, even since before it was actually put out for sale.

There was this one Source game mod thingy, never played it, it was futuristic and it was F2P, but you need a game with the Source Engine to play it. Graphics were good, game play im not sure
