Badspot was probably the kid who made giant lego sculptures and asked his parents for 400 dollar lego sets at christmas and when he showed the lego sculptures to his parents they said "oh that's cool" and went about their business, so he spent his childhood trying to impress them.

He probably was like any regular computer programmer. Grew up with a computer and LEGOs, and began to code stuff. On and on he made Blockland based off of LEGOs, probably from his childhood.
