Rky made a moving bricks event that would delete the brick and spawn a new one at a place the event indicates.
You can however fake it that they are moving by constantly deleting and remaking a brick on the grid, however a) it will lag with heaps of bricks and b) I'm sure badspot would fail bin it. Therefore, yes, it is impossible with a static grid.
