That's
1. Impossible
2. Would create a whole loving lot of lag.
It's impossible yes, but if you were to do it you'd do it client side so it doesn't lag.

It most likely couldn't be client-sided.
It'd have to be a server mod or something like that.

Uh, yes it could. Source, for example, renders reflections on the clientside (which is why you can turn them off for yourself). It's only feasible on the client.

Hey, Im not asking for reflective water, that's imposable due to the fact that mirror bricks would have been made by now if it wasnt.

I know, I'm just looking for alternative ways to get a similar result, as it cannot happen at this very moment.
Yea, that could work, but its a client side "Handy Cap". Everyone wont agree to do this causing certain effects to be missed.

I beleive Whoever made the map WWII islands-I think thats the map-Knows how to obscure vision,i've gone underwater on that map and it has a foggy effect.. Maybe you should ask whoever that is.
Hope im helpful :D

Doesn't that map have fog? If you were to go into Mission Editor, You could add fog underwater, if that would help. It would substitute as a blur, right?

How about stop trying to make a game more like real life and just enjoy it. I don't see any problem with the fact that our water isn't reflective or crap like that, who would pay attention to it half the time.

Cause game improvements are all bad..
Also, I said nothing about reflectiveness.
