Author Topic: Facing forward  (Read 663 times)

I guess you have encountered this problem at least once, but how do you get your character to face forward in third-person view? all I can do is this:

I am seeing the front of my character in this picture, but not his face.

You can't, the turn around makes him turn his head. I'd like to see a cmd that let you move the cam without moving his face though :)

There is a command for this.

It's called being an admin and pressing F8.

Or freelook.

Or freelook.
That's what op is doing... He wants to see his blockhead's face though.

Beat me to it.

Just realized my mistake.

You can't look around like that in third person.

Chasecam. I have it, and love it. A version where you move the camera with <V>^ but still move player with ASWD would be NICE. Especially for movies.

But he is in third person.

that would be a whole new style of doing it

i don't think the rear view mirror would work for this, as it would be from behind you, aiming even more behind you, rather than in front looking behind

figured out by remapping, locking.
