Author Topic: My school is stupid when buying laptops.  (Read 5356 times)

Our middle school has four computer labs. Two are for the typing classes, and two are for the rest of the teachers for when the class is doing a project or something.

Speaking of laptops, I've been thinking of using some of my school budget money to get this to replace my older laptop which I got two years ago with school budget money.

u mad?

i dont think you know what budget we are all talking about. its not a fund YOU can spend from.

and that comp you linked to is overpriced, especially for how bad it is.

Yes, I know.

Yes, but it's the only one on the approved vendor list that I'm allowed to buy :|

Middleschool kids get computers? Huh. Back at my middle school, it was, "If you haven't got a computer, go to the library computer."

But yeah, the latter of that makes a bit of sense to me. But don't count on those computers being in too good of shape for too long (remembers when a kid shoved a ton of gum in the disk drive of a new computer).

im in elementary school.
