No it is not, because I have reversed them before and it didnt change a thing in-game
Don't know why it doesn't work, but in that image there are reversed normals. That is what it looks like.
How can that be true, when the translucency worked perfectly on this model? (the scope)
With the "no way around it" I meant that I am 100% sure that the normals are reversed.
Can you tell me why, perhaps? -_-
I am not entirely sure how much it affects the performance if at all, but I've heard it increases the render time for that model. Since there are faces inside the model that the game needs to render but you will never see them unless you specifically go inside the model.
