Author Topic: Blockland App for the Ipod  (Read 4292 times)

There was a blockland port to psp some time ago.

I'm working on a Blockland Builder app for the droid but the whole losing my apartment thing is putting a hold on my ability to teach myself openGL to get the 3D perspective and rotaty view things right.

A suggestion to java developers, don't try to use java by itself for 3d. :P

iPod Touch has no buttons.

Blockland won't work on iPod Touch or iPhone because of that reason (it would, but the controls would be too awful to be fun or playable).

what the he'll are you talking about, the Ipod has an infinite number of buttons that could be used, along with accelerometer readings, swip actions, multi touch actions.  Infinite.

hawrible Idea

instead of spelling horrible wrong, you could say how this is hawrible.

And more people have been saying this would be bad because of the format for it, this has been said many times before so just shut up and don't repeat what previous posts had said.

And this thread has had more posts an less views than that of my Colosseum, how is it that chaos attracts more than pictures?

I don't think it has infinite buttons. Actually, it only has... what, 3 buttons? Volume and power? It would be very difficult, and even then, it would be laggy. I highly doubt this would happen, get over it.

Also, wrong board much?

Cydia brother.

still, not that many people will get to play it then.

hey buddy, next time look back in threads to make sure that the things you say don't overlap with what others say and with what others have answered, there is a reason I put this in off topic.

Also it is an iPod touch, an infinite number of buttons because it has a touch screen inwhich one can program just about anything so that there are buttons.

IPod is terrible for portable gaming, even more as a phone/mp3 player, and a complete pile of horsestuff when it comes to game programming.

Get a DS/3DS/android.

Or a Blackberry/Symbian.
