I haven't been able to claim any of my free stuff from the facebook app or for downloading the demo, so I guess I will have to wait a little longer to get them or figure out how they exactly redeem them.

it should unlock automatically in the game if you have linked your EA account on a console or I assume just enter your email on the PC

you have to actually play the facebook app to unlock the items .. took around 10 minutes for the first one.

honestly all the unlockable items suck and by the end of the game I sold them all.

anyway,

21 hours for my first playthrough. ended up with 40/50 achievements (playing on xbox) .. so many missable ones! played as a rogue. they're massively overpowered in my opinion, I had an active buff that gave 15%+ attack speed or something, a 21% attack speed rune in my dagger, and a mage giving me an extra 60% attack speed for 20 seconds. I had some of the best gear in the game and by the end it was just a matter of spamming A and watching things die.

kind of frustrated that I missed so many achievements .. still pondering a second playthrough to mop them up. I don't know if I want to sit through it again, even though I'd be playing it a totally different way..

EDIT: This is one of those games where I found myself stopping to say "hey look this cave again. haven't I already been here .. twice?"

Got for my birthday
along with 65 dollars
great game however I have no idea what i'm doing alot of the time in kirkwall

I kept restarting the game to play a different way and I got myself bored of the first part of the game. I'm taking a little break so that I c an actually play through it.

There's a new patch out, not sure when it was released.

Get any of the dl content?

I believe the story is more linear than it lets on, but there's still plenty of replay value. I beat it and started playthrough 2 without even closing the window. That's not saying much, since I keep game windows open for days, but it was within the same night.

Sebastian is a boring character. The Black Emporium isn't too bad, but since it was created as DLC and not part of the game, it doesn't have any sort of backstory or quests needed to access it.

I'd love to play but either I have a corrupt save file on my HD or my xbox itself is finally giving up and dying because sometimes it takes a while to load and any game I try to play prompts the error message "Cannot read disc" even if it was a downloadable game that doesn't need a disc to play. So, I can't play any game, nor can I watch any movie on it without extreme difficulties.

I'm opting more to my disc drive as I have used my HDD in another xbox and it ran fine, so I bought a laser lens cleaner in hopes that that is all I need to do. Otherwise, after 4 years of owning the thing, it will finally have broken down to where I might need to get a new one.

Bump

I can't seem to get into the game once I get to Act2 I got through it once but the save file got deleted. In my opinion Origins was a better game, I felt it had better replay ability, the lack of which is making DA2 hard to play right now (especially when you've played through the first part of the game ten times). It also handled equipment better and how you level up your character.
I think I'm going to play through Origins and Awakening again and engineer a save for DA2.

Yeah, Origins seemed a bit longer as well, not counting DLC and all. It just sucks I have to use a friend's xbox just to play the bloody game. Mine is still stuffting the pan with the game. I heard it was a glitch with the game and some kind of patch would be released for it, but I don't really think that's my case when I get the disc read error off of the demo, which doesn't need a disc to play.

I managed to use the console to get the abilities of the final boss. It was fun, but they were designed to work on player characters, so they didn't do much damage.
