Come on, they maybe won't screw it up. Look at zelda, it changed from 2D to 3D, and it still is good, like Mario games.

Yeah, SEGA is ew. Yong Yong is great, and haves good quality music for it's games. I mean, look up Sonic Blast 5 for GB! It sounds so amazing! My ears can't even handle it's awesomeness!

Also, i grew up with the old sonic games, but in like 1998-1999 when my playgroup didn't actually have a saturn or Nintendo 64, they had a mega drive and a SNES
Some fat girl was hogging the 64.

I'm excited now. It's simple game, there is no addition of weird creatures as powerups and whatnot.
The ability to choose between the two styles is also interesting.
