Eeeh. I'd say fallout 3 is better then New vegas apart from in some areas.

either way, whichever fallout you get you're not going to be disappointed. if the GOTY of fallout 3 comes with any DLC and saves you money, I'd suggest that over vegas.

By the way, I've beaten Fallout 3 and some DLCs, but it's a nice game to have.
