beat the first torchlight in one sitting .. couldn't rip me away from the damn thing.

should i get this? im sort of getting into top down dungeon crawlers, although i think diablo looks better

Yes, Diablo might be better, it's too soon to tell seeing as there is no release date for Diablo.
