Honestly in my house me & my dad do alot of effort,
since my mum and brother are loving handicapped for tech - they're both sucked into iPhones, iPods and consoles.
So they struggled to even download things correctly!

my dad has been working with computers alot longer than I've been alive since he always worked with Northrup Grumman. he isnt stupid like alot of you guys' parents are when it comes to computers.

yayayayay

I opened my ports for a game years ago and over 600 people attempted to join my network. Dad wasn't happy.

I work in a tech office at my school, so I'm pretty sure my parents trust me with computers. They ask me to repair their stuff all the time.

My dad works as an IT manager or something with a company that owns a bunch of radio stations. He's kinda supposed to know how computers work, mostly through networking, but he doesn't know very much.

My dad knows more than me. My mom knows what she is doing for the most part.

My dad is okay with macs and so is my mom. However, my dad is horrible with PC's and my mom is excellent. All of her jobs she has used a PC,

My dad says port forwarding will leave me open to hacking.
This. So much this. However, both of my parents know how to use a computer/laptop, so I guess it's pretty cool.

i remember being on the phone to my mom shouting at her "BROWSE! BROWSE! for the 100th loving time, its BROWSE!"

didn't hear from her for like 4 months.
but got an email with an image attachment. subject; "i learned how to email pictures now!"

My mom doesn't know that she needs to turn her computer off when she's done using it.
She just closes it and thinks it shuts off when really it just goes to sleep.
Also everyone but my dad in my family thinks I'm the one that gets the computer viruses but then when i got my own desktop in my room, it never gets one virus where as the "family room computer" does.

Problem family except for my dad?

Besides thinking blockland is a virus, that's the only thing she has problems with. everything she is moderately good with, like using MS Excel for billing purposes.

I have my own computer and my parents never say much. They are more concerned that I get outside than using the computer properly
